Victus is Latin for food, Mili is, according to an Old German saying, synonymous with love. So Victus & Mili stands for a love of good food.
We cook Alpine and Mediterranean cuisine with individual influences on the traditional preparation by hand. Everything is freshly prepared in our kitchen using only the best ingredients. On a small, varied menu we vary frequently and try new dishes. Like this we’ll never get bored of cooking nor, we hope, you of enjoying. Fresh pasta, homemade sausages, pickled vegetables and potted fruits, bread, cake, ice cream, lemonades… everything is prepared by us on the premises with great care, and never taking shortcuts. The quality of the ingredients is key, so we only buy from small, selected producers we can trust… fresh, seasonal and local, of course! In addition, we have Bavarian beer from Chiemgau, wine from Austria and Italian coffee.
We are delighted to be working with produce from the Gärtnerei Bach, Schönbrunner Honig in Vienna, the Schlossbrauerei Stein and, of course, all the wonderful people who share their private harvests with us!
